Refund and Returns Policy

Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.
Certain items are not eligible for return due to their nature or handling sensitivity.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Books: All book sales are final. Due to their delicate nature and how they arrive from publishers or distributors, minor imperfections such as corner dents or light cover marks are common and do not qualify for returns. We securely package books and do our best to describe them accurately, but perfect condition is not guaranteed.
  • Art prints and original artwork: All art sales are final. Due to limited availability and the risk of handling damage, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any artwork.

Car Parts
Returns are only accepted for unopened and uninstalled parts. Any part that has been opened, mounted, used, or shows signs of installation is not eligible for return. Please ensure compatibility before opening or installing parts.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email whether your refund is approved or declined.
If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  • Check your bank account again.
  • Contact your credit card company—posting delays can occur.
  • Contact your bank—processing times may vary.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items are final sale and non-refundable.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, contact us at social@racinghistorycompany.com.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive store credit for the value of the return. Once we receive the item, a gift certificate will be issued.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or was shipped to the gift giver, the refund will go to the gift giver and they will be notified of the return.

Shipping Returns
To initiate a return, please email us to request a Return Authorization number. Once approved, we will provide the return address.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If your return is approved for a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your total refund amount.
If you’re returning a high-value item, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without tracking.
