Skunk2’s Alpha Series Titanium Retainer Kit is a premium lightweight valvetrain upgrade engineered for Honda and Acura B-series VTEC engines, including B16A, B17A, and B18C applications found in the 92–00 Civic and 94–01 Integra. Each retainer is CNC-machined from aerospace-grade titanium for extreme strength and minimal mass, reducing valve float and improving stability at sustained high RPM.

Developed using advanced FEA analysis and precision tolerances, the Alpha Series retainers feature refined geometry and tighter clearances than Skunk2’s standard Pro Series retainers (308-05-0300). The result is improved spring seating, enhanced cam clearance, and superior durability under the stress of aggressive cam profiles and extended high-RPM operation.
