The Hytech Twinloop Muffler is a custom stainless steel straight-through twinloop muffler designed for naturally aspirated Honda EG, EK, and DC chassis applications. Built around a 2.5-inch core, it is engineered specifically for NA B-series engines where exhaust flow, tone quality, and chassis clearance all matter.

While many traditional Japanese mufflers use 2.25-inch piping, Hytech’s 2.5-inch sizing offers increased flow without stepping into oversized tubing that can hurt mid-range response or create fitment issues. Larger piping diameters are known to interfere with the rear lower control arm and chassis—especially on lowered cars—making 2.5 inches the ideal balance for NA B-series builds seeking power without compromise.

The internal twinloop straight-through design produces a deep, smooth exhaust tone, closely aligned with the refined sound character of the classic Mugen Twin Loop. It avoids the sharp, metallic qualities often associated with smaller straight-through mufflers. The result is a composed exhaust note at cruise with a fuller, richer sound under load.

By comparison, the Spoon N1 is a straight-through, single-core design, not a twinloop.
